Triple H is making sweeping changes in the WWE Universe ever since taking over head of creative with many more still to come.
Another change Triple H is looking at making is to bring back NXT “Takeover” events. The last was NXT “Takeover” was NXT “Takeover 36” in 2021.
At the time of NXT “Takeover 36” Triple H had known he would have been stepping away from NXT and that NXT would be going in a another direction with “NXT 2.0”.
Now that Triple H has the power to make changes to RAW, SmackDown and NXT he is discussing bringing back NXT “Takeover” events. “Takeover was to Triple H what WrestleMania was to Vince McMahon. That’s his baby.” A WWE source tells SW.
WWE would also like to do away with the colorful “NXT 2.0” and go back to a more solid tone similar to the “Black & Gold” which is another one of Triple H’s concepts.
Triple H continues to bring his own signature to the WWE Universe wether by bringing back formerly released WWE SuperStars, Belt Designs (read below) or previous NXT TakeOver events.
