Edge has been out of WWE action since June 2020 after tearing his triceps at Backlash 2020 in the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” against Randy Orton.

Edge is currently on a $3 Million Dollar contract with WWE and many fans are wondering if we will see the “Rated R SuperStar” again in a WWE ring.

The answer is yes as there are still current plans in place for Edge in the WWE Creative department.

As WWE awaits clearance from state health officials to allow more fans in place for the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 37 events many of the planned storylines and programs have been put on “hold” until more fans are allowed in attendance.

WWE feels that some of the best storylines they have planned may go to waste with no live crowds their to give them that genuine reaction.

Edge is one of those programs as WWE would like Edge to become WWE Champion again and knock off his arch rival Randy Orton in the process.

Plans are for Edge to be a main favorite heading into the 2021 Royal Rumble and WWE is considering all options for one last Edge WWE Championship reign.

If it wasn’t for the injury and pandemic we probably would’ve had many of these storylines take place already. It’s good to hear that WWE is not giving up on one last Edge run. Stay tuned to SW for the latest updates.
