The Tribal Chief vs The Franchise
Two of the most decorated WWE Superstars will battle it out for supremacy at SummerSlam 2021 taking place August 21st from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.
WWE is expected to have a stacked card for SummerSlam 2021 as the NFL Raiders home Allegiant Stadium has a seating capacity around 70,000 and WWE will use big names to fill the stadium to a capacity sell out.
John Cena who most recently starred in the block buster movie “Fast 9” as Dominic Torreto’s long lost villian brother is back in WWE as a favor to Vince McMahon to help sell out SummerSlam. WWE is working around Cena’s movie filming/production schedule to have Mr. You Can’t See Me return.
Roman Reigns who beat John Cena in a singles match at No Mercy in 2017 is on a whole another level compared to years past. The Tribal Chief is The Head Of The Table in the WWE Universe and everyone Acknowledges him.
The game plan remains the same as before with this match. As we previously reported (read below) WWE is lining up past legends for Roman Reigns to defeat as WWE wants to make Roman Reigns one of the, if not the most dominant WWE Champion since Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Expect Roman Reigns to continue his warpath well beyond SummerSlam and onto WrestleMania 38 in 2022 as Universal Champion.
As far as John Cena goes well that Hollywood money is no spare change and movie directors and production studios are waiting John Cena to return to movie making after SummerSlam.
WWE using big names and legends is the oldest trick in the book and when tickets are needed to be sold, WWE will call on big names to get those tickets sold. Stay tuned to Slice Wrestling for the latest updates.
