WWE went into a massive release frenzy this afternoon in a plan to help the company financially during the covid-19 pandemic.
WWE announced that the following superstars were released from their WWE contracts.
• Drake Maverick (James Curtin)
• Curt Hawkins (Brian Myers)
• Karl Anderson(Chad Allegra)
• Luke Gallows (Drew Hankinson)
• Heath Slater (Heath Miller)
• Eric Young (Jeremy Fritz)
• EC3 (Michael Hutter)
• Lio Rush (Lionel Green)
That’s a total of 8 superstars that have been let go due to WWE layoffs. More names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as this will not be the only wave of superstars being released during these trying times. Stay tuned to Slice Wrestling for the latest updates.
