WWE officially announced the future of upcoming WrestleMania’s this past week and the WWE Universe got a rare look into the WWE schedule future. There were numerous factors into why WWE announced the next three years of WrestleMania date and locations all at once and this will give you a clearer picture on WWE’s plans and strategy on planning the next three WrestleMania’s.

WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium Tampa, FL Saturday April, 10th 2021:
This year’s WrestleMania was originally intended to be held at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Vince McMahon decided to run WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL because of the less live fans restrictions in Florida and because of the losses WWE took last year when the pandemic hit. WWE is looking recuperate some of those losses with WrestleMania 37, “In Mr. McMahon’s eyes he is making up for a missed opportunity last year” sources within the company tell SW. WWE is also grateful to Florida for their hospitality during the last year allowing WWE to hold temporary residencies for the WWE “Thunderdomes” at the Amway Center and Tropicana Field. WWE sees WrestleMania 37 as a opportunity to give back to Florida. We previously reported on live fans attending Wrestlemania 37 and those plans are still in place. WWE is looking to announce Ticket and attendance guidelines/restrictions by February 2021 for the two-night extravaganza.

WrestleMania 38 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX Sunday April 3rd 2022:
WWE had intended WrestleMania to return to the home of the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium and had planned to go next year. WWE is proud of holding the record of the largest attendance at AT&T Stadium with 101,763 live fans for WrestleMania 32 in 2016. WWE knows that they might not be allowed to run that size crowd next year due to the pandemic. Since AT&T Stadium is so large WWE will be able to practice safe distance seating and close off sections to keep fans separated as much as possible. Texas is a huge money maker for WrestleMania and WWE. Many state and city officials welcome WWE business and wealthy investors including oil tycoons are pleased to bring business back to Texas especially an event the size and magnitude of WrestleMania which has an impact economically on almost every sector of business when the show descends into the city.

WrestleMania 39 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles Sunday, April 3rd 2023:
WrestleMania 39 was switched from this year to 2023 due to the pandemic. WWE put this WrestleMania last on the schedule hoping that the pandemic will be completely dispersed by then and full capacity live crowd will be allowed to attend. WWE is banking big money on this WrestleMania and major star studded blockbuster matches are on the card. HollyWood will play a more role at this event and WWE is looking to takeover Los Angeles during WrestleMania 39 week and gain mainstream media exposure.
We hope that the pandemic goes away for all mankind and wrestling fans get to enjoy their favorite wrestling shows live again. Better times are ahead stay strong. Stay tuned to SW for the latest updates.
