The Undertaker’s 30 year journey seemed to have reached the end of the road as The Phenom said goodbye to the WWE Universe at Survivor Series.

For as long as fans can recall, The Undertaker has seemingly always been “retiring” only for rumors to begin around WrestleMania season for another match.

Is this a real retirement ? The answer is yes and no. You see WWE billed this years Survivor Series as his “Farewell” but WWE company representatives confirmed to us that this is not internally being referred to as the official retirement program for The Deadman.

WWE wouldn’t comment much past that and general census within the company is that The Undertaker said “farewell” at Survivor Series but his real retirement will take place at the WWE Hall Of Fame during WrestleMania Weekend which he will be sure to headline.

There are also short squash matches and cinematic matches that could take place in The Undertakers’ future and everyone within WWE believes that The Fiend would be the ideal opponent for that type of match if Undertaker chose to do so.

Vince McMahon would never close the door on the Undertaker completely and his motto of “Never Say Never” will keep that door slightly ajar in the event The Undertaker feels the need to get back in the ring.

The road to WrestleMania 37 is approaching and The Undertaker legend remains true “The Deadman never dies”. Stay tuned to Slice Wrestling for the latest updates.
