During this week’s Monday Night RAW Paul Heyman revealed himself to once again be the “Advocate” for Brock Lesnar.
The show began with the lights off and when the lights turned on Paul Heyman was standing in the ring. He began to explain that he was back as the Advocate for Brock Lesnar.
WWE will be using Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar as top baby faces on the RAW brand moving forward, which will be a change from Heyman’s heel “Special Counsel” role he played with Roman Reigns.
The original plan was always for Paul Heyman to reunite with Brock Lesnar before Roman Reigns tested positive for COVID-19 and this was intended to serve as a shocking moment to the WWE Universe.
This “betrayal” will become a key factor in the Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns storyline as WWE continues to build that match.
