Big news coming out of XFL offices as sources have relayed to Slice Wrestling that the XFL is closing down the league for good.
The effects of the covid-19 pandemic was just too much of a financial loss for XFL to recover from.
In March 2020 XFL announced that the remainder of the season was canceled due to the covid-19 outbreak, now the XFL will be shutting down the league for good as Vince McMahon sees no real value in the company as they never had a real chance at overtaken the NFL for the football crown.
The experiment of the XFL was just so “Vince McMahon could say he did it, and gave it another shot.”
