Camden, London – PROGRESS Wrestling announced today for the first-time ever there is set to be a Women’s Super Strong Style 16 tournament in 2026.
The blockbuster announcement came immediately after Rhio defeated Nina Samuels for the PROGRESS Women’s World Championship.
Since its inception in 2015, Super Strong Style 16 has established itself as one of the premier tournaments in professional wrestling, serving as a proving ground for elite competitors and launching the careers of international stars. Previous winners such as Zack Sabre Jr., Will Ospreay and Aleister Black have gone on to achieve worldwide acclaim, cementing the tournament’s reputation as a career-defining event.
Super Strong Style 16 has traditionally been a launchpad toward championship contention within PROGRESS, with past victors often going on to headline major events worldwide. Expectations are high once again as the first bell approaches.
PROGRESS Wrestling tickets are available for all future shows via the dice app, including both days of SSS16.
