WWE officials are in advanced discussions to change the name of the “King And Queen Of The Ring” event WWE sources tell Slice Wrestling. The event is scheduled to take place at the Jeddah Superdome on May 27th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

WWE is making the change to the name in preparation of Roman Reigns 1000 days milestone as WWE Undisputed Champion which will be on May 27th 2023 the same date as the Saudi Arabia event. WWE is expected to announce a new name for the event shortly and the name will be a better reflection on the type of show that is being produced.

The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia will pay WWE $50 million per event held in the Saudi Arabia.

WWE’s previous Saudi Arabia event took place on November 5th, 2022 with the “Crown Jewel” event. The top matches had Roman Reigns defeat Logan Paul to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and Bianca Belair defeat Bayley to retain the Raw Women’s Championship.
