WWE officially announced Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel on Saturday November 5th.
WWE is using the mainstream media appeal of Logan Paul to get more publicity on Roman Reigns and his heel faction The BloodLine.
WWE see’s this match as a opportunity to get Logan Paul’s YouTube viewers and podcast listeners more familiar with Roman Reigns, The BloodLine and the entire WWE Universe brand.
Logan Paul hosts his own podcast, “Impaulsive,” featuring celebrities, athletes, comedians, business moguls and other guests, which has nearly 4 million subscribers on YouTube. Paul’s main YouTube channel currently has 23.5 million subscribers.
Logan Paul recently signed a 3-year contract with WWE on June, 30th 2022 worth a whopping $15 Million over a span of three years with an option to extend.
Triple H & Stephanie McMahon want to capitalize on the social media following of Logan Paul and bring more eyes to WWE.
Triple H got the idea of Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul from the Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul boxing match which sold 1M PPV Buys and made $50 Million.
WWE wants to get Roman Reigns and The BloodLine as much mainstream publicity ahead of the highly anticipated Rock vs Roman Reigns match which is planned to take place at WrestleMania 39 in 2023.
As WWE moves closer to WrestleMania expect WWE to break the bank to make Roman Reigns larger than life and the biggest WWE SuperStar ever.
