Tommaso Ciampa has been out of WWE action since September 2022 after undergoing surgery to repair a hip labrum.
Since then WWE has undergone significant changes and many WWE SuperStars have moved brands.
Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Dexter Lumis were all drafted to RAW during the 2023 WWE Draft.
Indi Hartwell was also called-up to the main roster during the 2023 WWE Draft and after relinquishing her NXT Women’s Championship she joined her “The Way” stable mates on the RAW brand.
“The Way” are a professional wrestling stable act on the RAW brand. The group is led by Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, and Hartwell’s on-screen husband Dexter Lumis.
Tommaso Ciampa is almost set to return to WWE action and Triple H is discussing for him to be involved in “The Way” storyline.
WWE is considering him to align with the group or possibly feud with his former DIY tag-team partner Johnny Gargano.
WWE officials see huge potential in “The Way” and plans are in place for the stable to be a major act on the RAW brand moving forward.
