WWE is known to sometimes inadvertently come across babyface’s that are organically made through the overwhelming support from the WWE Universe.
It happened with the “New Day” it happened with the “Yes Movement” it happened with “Rusev Day” and now it’s “Lana”
The overwhelming fan support for this babyface underdog that has endured constant bullying and consistent beat downs that include being put through numerous tables by Nia Jax has made Lana the new fan chosen one.
WWE has decided to capitalize on this lightning in a bottle with the character Lana and put her in championship storylines.
WWE officials are discussing for Lana to face her bullies Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships at TLC.
Further more depending on how long the massive fan support for Lana continues WWE may position Lana for a prime matchup at WrestleMania 37.
Lana has not had an easy year by a long shot as her real life husband Rusev was released by WWE and is now with WWE’s main competitor AEW.
Fans can feel when a character goes through some sort of struggle wether personal or as a character and thus they become a fan favorite underdog. The fan support becomes so overwhelming that WWE has no choice then to pull the trigger and make them champion.
