“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar II is scheduled to take place at the Night Of Champions premium live event on May 27th in Saudi Arabia.
Cody Rhodes narrowly defeated Brock Lesnar at “Backlash” via a roll-up pin. The next night on RAW Brock Lesnar interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament triple threat match between Cody Rhodes vs Finn Bálor vs The Miz.
Brock Lesnar viscously attacked Cody Rhodes, F’5ing him through the announcers table. Cody Rhodes later accepted the rematch.
WWE officials are discussing ways to improvise this rematch and stipulations have been discussed for Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar II.
Last Man Standing, Extreme Rules, No Disqualification and Ambulance matches have all been discussed in recent WWE creative meetings.
