There is no rivalry more intriguing in professional wrestling than Goldberg vs Riddle
The Feud was first set off by comments made by Matt Riddle about Goldberg’s wrestling abilities and his performance in his match vs The Undertaker at “Super ShowDown”
The two then came face to face backstage at SummerSlam with the footage recently released by Goldberg’s “WWE Chronicle” special on the WWE Network.
With all this drama mounting and fan interest in a possible match reaching peak levels, WWE has begun discussing if this is a lucrative match that could help revenue and ratings.
Matt Riddle is said to be interested in a match with Goldberg as Riddle has been campaigning for higher profile matches most notably requesting to retire Brock Lesnar.
Goldberg has recently said he has no interest in any kind of match vs Matt Riddle but big money offers are currently flowing through WWE.
Triple H has been pushing for the Goldberg vs Riddle match and has been advising Vince McMahon to focus more on making stars for the next generation, something wwe desperately needs. This is the main reason older Superstars such as The Undertaker, Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels and Goldberg are constantly needed to boost ratings and ticket sales.
The groundwork has been laid and the storyline writes itself the only delay in getting this match sanctioned is Goldberg agreeing to the match.
