WWE crowned Ronda Rousey at the WWE “WrestleMania Backlash” premium live event after she beat Charlotte Flair in a “I quit match”.
Now as the “Baddest woman on the planet” moves on to other challenges, WWE is planning the future of Ronda and the WWE SmackDown women’s championship.
WWE believes that Ronda Rousey holding the WWE SmackDown women’s championship will bring “prestige” to the title. “A long, “dominant run.” is how one WWE source explained it to us as Ronda Rousey is set to pick apart the SmackDown women’s roster one by one.
The ultimate showdown will take place at WrestleMania 39 taking place on Saturday, April 1st and Sunday, April 2nd in 2023 from SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, CA.
The opponent will be none other than the “Big Time” Becky Lynch who has found a new stride in her heel character with her over-the-top ring gear and Improved promo skills.
WWE is also planning to get Ronda Rousey some help in the promo department for that feud and some big name legends/producers/managers have been discussed to help her improve.
WWE is planning to move Becky Lynch to the SmackDown brand in the WWE draft taking place during the Fall of 2022 preparation of this match.
As WWE steamrolls towards Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch blockbuster match at WrestleMania 39 it will be interesting to see who carry’s the momentum into that star studded weekend.
