Kenny Omega is nearing a triumphant return to AEW.
Kenny Omega had been out of AEW action since undergoing multiple surgeries for multiple injuries including knee, shoulder and abdominal injuries, as well as a hernia. Kenny Omega’s last match in AEW was at “Full Gear” PPV on November 13th when he dropped the AEW world title to “Hangman” Adam Page, ending a 346-day title reign.
Now “The Cleaner” is almost ready for his triumphant return to AEW action and sources in AEW have told SW he will be returning to AEW action in time for “ALL OUT” week in Chicago during Labor Day weekend.
The current working plan is for Kenny Omega to get involved in the World Trios Championship Tournament storyline which will crown an Inaugural World Trios Champion at the “ALL OUT” PPV Sunday, September 4th.
AEW officials are discussing for Kenny Omega to get involved in the AEW World Championship picture once again and AEW is already discussing potential opponents for The Cleaner including

• Daniel Bryan
• Adam Cole
• Andrade El Idolo
• Malakai Black
• Claudio
