After winning the 2010 Royal Rumble on January 31st in Atalanta, GA Edge returns to WWE and enters number 1 to win the 2021 Royal Rumble in St. Petersburg, FL
The stage is now set for the road to WrestleMania 37. WWE had been discussing another Edge run last year (read below) before his tricep injury at “Backlash” during “The Greatest Wrestling Match” vs Randy Orton.
Now healthy and back from injuries all bets at off and Edge is primed for another WWE Championship run. WWE Officials have discussed a few options and as late as this week.
Edge vs Roman for the WWE Universal Championship has been brought up and Vince McMahon has discussed a Roman vs Edge match at recent meetings and he likes the idea of two big names like Edge and Roman headlining WrestleMania 37 he will make the final call on this decision shortly.
Edge vs Roman Reigns would definitely be an exciting WrestleMania match as the road to WrestleMania 37 kicks into high gear. Stay tuned to SW for the latest developments.
