The Rated R Superstar is set to make his WWE return in the near future and take the WWE universe by storm.
We previously reported on Edge’s WWE comeback plans (read below) and now we have even more clarification on his return.
WWE is planning for Edge to make a return at the 2021 Royal Rumble or shortly thereafter and begin his Wrestlemania 37 storyline.
Edge vs Randy Orton is the main game plan moving forward and WWE sees this as the ending of the Edge vs Orton trilogy and last run for Edge’s WWE Career.
WWE is also planning a WWE Championship run for Edge as this will be his victory lap in his last chapter of his career.
Edge has a short list of desired opponents he would like to face as WWE Champion and that list includes AJ Styles and The Fiend.
