Cain Velazquez has officially signed a WWE contract.
Velazquez will be featured prominently on Friday Night SmackDown on FOX
SmackDown will become a much more physical show and street fight style brawls will become the norm on the show similar to a UFC weigh in or press conference when competitors get into fights.
Expect to see a whole lot more of the Cain/Brock type brawls on the blue brand.
Cain Velasquez signed a huge money deal with WWE and is expected to be a multi-year contract.
The deal allows Cain Velazquez to have a flex schedule while still being able to compete in MMA.
Cain Velazquez will face Brock Lesnar at the Crown Jewel Event in Saudi Arabia on October, 31st 2019.
The storyline between Cain and Brock will be a saga that is expected stretch out to WrestleMania 36 in 2020.
Cain will be working closely with Paul Heyman on his character development, promo skills and the overall transition of UFC star to WWE star.
WWE sees huge potential in a talent like Cain Velazquez and they will take full advantage of his skills especially on a network like FOX.
