AEW officials are extremely high on Japanese rising star Konosuke Takeshita.
AEW feels the 28 year-old Takeshita has all the tools necessary to be a major force in All Elite Wrestling for years to come. Takeshita in-ring skills and power is truly impressive and AEW is looking to make this star a dominant force in the promotion.
AEW has paired up Takeshita with Don Callis to be his Manager as a way to develop this young talent and allow for Don Callis to be his mouthpiece during promos similar to what Paul Heyman does in WWE.
AEW officials also want Konosuke Takeshita to become a AEW star and to have big time matches on pay-per-views and alleviate the pressure from AEW to always depend on Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson to deliver big matches on big show stages.
AEW officials are currently discussing Takeshita vs Kota Ibushi to take place on a major pay-per-view and thus will continue Takeshita’s feud with the ELITE.
AEW is loaded with young up and coming stars and the future is bright in the AEW Galaxy.
