The Rock’s new film “The Smashing Machine did not lay the SmackDown at the box office opening weekend.
A career-worst debut for the A-list star The Rock pulling in only $6 million opening weekend. The film which follows the story of UFC fighter Mark Kerr as he makes a career comeback after battling substance abuse.
The movie is heralded by film critics across the globe and is expected to be in the running for an Oscar nominee.
