Conor McGregor’s return is official.
UFC President Dana White confirmed to ESPN the former two-division UFC champion will fight on January 18th against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246 in Las Vegas. The two will fight at welterweight in a non-title bout.
WWE remains one of McGregor’s goals post retirement once he officially hangs up his fighting gloves from fighting in the octagon and Vince McMahon and Triple H remain in positive communication with McGregor in regards to one day appearing at WrestleMania.
McGregor (21-4) will make his first appearance in the Octagon since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov by fourth-round submission at UFC 229 in October 2018.
