Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velazquez very well could be the next big MMA star to crossover into professional wrestling.
Velazquez has achieved success in UFC becoming a former Heavyweight Champion including defeating Brock Lesnar.
Cain Velazquez already got a taste of being a Wrestling Star when he made his pro wrestling debut on August, 3rd in Mexico City at AAA’s “TripleMania”, Mexico’s biggest Wrestling promotion.
Cain Velazquez teamed up with Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown to take on Texano JR., Taurus and Luchador Sorpesa in a impressive debut match where Cain hit a hurricanrana.
Now Cain may be looking for a more serious position in Pro Wrestling as ESPN’s Marc Raimondi is reporting that Cain Velazquez is scheduled to meet with New Japan Pro Wrestling officials and other Wrestling Promotions may have interest as well.
Cain Velasquez is currently scheduled for two more AAA dates on September, 15th and October, 13th.
