WWE has announced Seth Rollins has vacated the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to suffering a shoulder injury.

Seth Rollins was injured during the Crown Jewel Championship match against Cody Rhodes on Saturday, October 11th in Perth Australia.

Seth Rollins injured his shoulder during a coast-to-coast head-dive that missed its mark. Even though Seth Rollins was victorious in defeating Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship the injury will now cost him a substantial amount of time due to needing surgery.

The Seth Rollins injury could take him out until March 2026 or longer depending how he heals and does during the rehabilitation process.

RAW General Manager announced on this week’s Monday Night RAW episode that a Battle Royal tonight will determine who will face the number one contender, CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st to crown a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The injury serves a major blow to WWE’s road to WrestleMania 42 creative plans as a WWE World Heavyweight Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins match was planned to headline Night 1.

SW will have an exclusive Red Book report that will take a look and the creative plans for The Vision and Roman Reigns.
