This week’s Wednesday Night Wars ratings are a little deceiving as AEW ran a explosive show from the Daisy’s Place Complex in Jacksonville, FL billed as a “Homecoming” show and NXT ran a taped 2019 “Year End Awards” show.
With the stacked card AEW had, it’s not a surprise they dragged the floor with NXT in the first week of 2020.
We will have a much better idea of where these battling shows stand next week when NXT returns to airing live.
