The “King Of The Ring” returning was Vince McMahon’s idea but the overall writing and creative direction responsibilities were given to Paul Heyman.
The match order and overall participants were hand picked by Paul Heyman and certain SuperStars Heyman is a fan of are being included in upcoming WWE tv storylines such as Chad Gable and Cedric Alexander
