The Demon King shall return.
Finn Bálor’s beloved character is expected to return to NXT in 2020.
Plans are in place that would see The Demon King return at NXT TakeOver Tampa.
Finn Bálor is a proud creator and one of the main reason for leaving the RAW and SmackDown and returning to NXT was simply the fact that Vince McMahon did not know how to use the Demon King Character.
McMahon is notoriously known for burying any character he himself did not personally create Sting, NWO, Etc.
Those within WWE know The Fiend character is somewhat a play on the Demon King character and the alter ego persona that Bray Wyatt displays was somewhat conceived from The Demon King.
Vince McMahon is much more comfortable with pushing his own creation (The Fiend) opposed to Bálor’s (The Demon King).
Triple H has given Bálor free reign to use the character as her sees fit in NXT and those plans are now starting to take shape.
Finn Bálor as the Demon King will re-emerge at NXT TakeOver Tampa and possible opponents include
• Adam Cole
• Johnny Gargano
The Demon King rising to the top of NXT is long overdue and Bálor winning the NXT Championship during WWE’s biggest weekend would definitely be huge for the company.
