Charlotte Flair made her triumphant return to WWE action on Sunday’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view as the surprise partner with Asuka and winning the Women’s Tag-Team Championships by defeating Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler. WWE designed her return to make sure Charlotte got her revenge on Nia Jax for storyline injuring her in June 2020.
We had previously reported on Charlotte Flair’s impending return to WWE action in November and now the stage is set for her role during WrestleMania 37 season.
Charlotte & Asuka will continue as dominating Tag-Team Champions for the upcoming months. WWE will look to capitalize on the humor of the polar opposite styles of these two female stars.
WWE officials view the pairing of Charlotte & Asuka as a women’s tag dream team as these two stars are some of the most successful and best in-ring performers in all of the women’s division.
WWE will have this tag-team successfully defend the tag titles and the good times will roll and the two stars will be having fun on their road to success.
The team will have solid run until the real target becomes the WWE RAW Women’s Championship, Charlotte Falir will have her eyes on the top prize and WWE will eventually discontinue the Tag-Team and Asuka vs Charlotte for the Women’s Championship will become the main focal point of this paring.
