WWE SuperStar Brock Lesnar was an honorary coach for the Gopher’s Big Ten opener against Wisconsin on Friday January 10, 2020 as the program celebrated the 20th anniversary of his NCAA Championship.
In a true feel good moment all kids in eighth-grade and below got the opportunity to take a group photo with the legend.
Brock Lesnar is a 2x NCAA finalist as a Gopher, and he has achieved great heights of success in WWE and UFC.
In his two seasons with Minnesota, Brock Lesnar racked up a 55-3 record and 23 pins. From Nov. 16, 1999 through February 18, 2000 he won 23 straight bouts.
Brock Lesnar visited Gophers campus and to give back to his Alma Mater and has helped train Minnesota Gophers wrestler Gable Stevenson.
