Austin Theory has found himself in a very precarious situation. You see Austin Theory has handpicked by Vince McMahon to be the next “One”.
Vince McMahon had been grooming Theory to be the face of WWE after Roman Reigns and was conducting the “Theory Experiment” to see if he could mold Theory into McMahon’s next great creation.
Big plans were set in place and after a significant push Austin Theory had won the 2022 Money In The Bank contract and was set to become new WWE Champion in 2023.
Early draft concepts had Theory cashing in at WrestleMania 39 or at the RAW after Mania 39 in Los Angeles, CA.
Now a few months later his mentor Vince McMahon is no longer running WWE and a new head of creative has changed plans in the WWE Universe.
“Triple H has his own mind made up on how he wants to book certain superstars and not everyone who was pushed under Vince will remain the same.” A WWE source tells SW.
Triple H likes Austin Theory’s look and in-rink skills and would likely have hime compete in the mid-card title scene before gradually move up.
WWE officials are also discussing for Austin Theory to put his MITB briefcase on the line in a upcoming program that could shift the landscape of the WWE Universe.
Some WWE officials think the MITB briefcase would be better suited with another WWE superstar thus allowing Austin Theory to be developed in other programs within the WWE Universe.
