WWE officials are discussing plans for UFC superstar Conor McGregor to appear at WrestleMania 39.
WWE is already making plans for next year’s WrestleMania and one of the first things they have on the list is to get Conor McGregor to appear at the mega event.
Vince McMahon is a huge Conor McGregor fan and he is the one negotiating the deal. Both men being of Irish descent has struck a familiar cord with both men.
WWE is working on a Conor McGregor special appearance/celebrity match and different opponents have been mentioned. One of the ideas is for Conor McGregor in some sort of program involving Ronda Rousey or Drew McIntyre. No official plans have been finalized and WWE is focussed on getting a contract signed first.
WWE is keen on getting as many mainstream media celebrities from different industries to appear at their biggest show of the year and especially with WrestleMania 39 being held in HollyWood, CA Conor McGregor is at the top of WWE’s list.
