Snoop Dogg is on Vince McMahon’s naughty list.
AEW recently announced that the one and only Snoop Dogg will be making a guest appearance at the upcoming AEW Dynamite episode on January, 6th 2021.
Once word got back to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon he literally blew a gasket as sources within WWE headquarters said “This was one of the most angriest we have ever seen him.”
WWE had recently announced a special The Undertaker x Snoop Dogg collaboration merchandise to celebrate 30 years of The Undertaker. Vince McMahon immediately instructed the WWE merchandise department to pull any and all Snoop Dogg merchandise which hadn’t even been up long enough to hit the profit target.
Vince McMahon sees Snoop Dogg appearing on AEW as a slap in the face and disrespectful. Snoop Dogg is a celebrity inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2016 and believes he should be loyal to the WWE brand.
There is another issue at play here as Sasha Banks is the real life first cousin of Snoop Dogg and he personally helped her develop her character, ring name and entrance music.
Those within WWE wouldn’t be surprised to see some sort of backlash from Vince McMahon as Sasha Banks is set to defend the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against “The Untouchable One” Carmella this Sunday at the TLC pay-per-view.
Vince McMahon does not want All Elite Wrestling gaining any mainstream exposure whatsoever and this week AEW beat RAW (WWE’s flagship show) in the demographic ratings.
Snoop Dogg will be bringing his 19 Million Twitter followers and 55.5 Million Instagram followers with him to AEW and Vince McMahon is having nightmares on how much more mainstream media exposure AEW will be getting in 2021.
To Snoop Dogg this is “Nuthin’ but a G thang” but to Vince McMahon this is nothing but a business thing. Stay tuned to Slice Westling for the latest updates.
