Triple H is the mastermind behind NXT

Ever since the Black & Gold Brand was born it was created as a way to prepare young up and coming talents for the big stages on RAW and SmackDown.

Now NXT is the big stage with a Cable televised two hour show on USA every Wednesday night.

The NXT/Performance Center has produced some of todays brightest stars such as Finn Bálor, Charlotte Flair, Kevin Owens, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and so on.

Sure many of the mentioned talents had already made it big on other world renowned promotions, but the WWE/NXT machine pushed these stars to universally known mega stars.

Triple H’s role with NXT will remain as before while working more closely with Vince McMahon to bring the NXT product to Cable TV.

When Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff were named “Executive Directors” of RAW and SmackDown some WWE fans questioned why Triple H didn’t receive a title.

The reason being Triple H was always going to lead NXT onto Cable and essentially is the “Executive Director” of NXT.

Vince McMahon will have more say on NXT now that it is on TV. But many of the Triple H storytelling styles will remain as well as NXT TakeOver’s booking and talent scouting/recruiting.

The NXT vs AEW “Wednesday Night Wars” is inching closer each day and we at Slice Wrestling cannot wait to usher in this new era in Pro Wrestling.

“It’s time to play the game.” Stay tuned to Slice Wrestling for the latest updates.
