Drew McIntyre is preparing to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36.
WWE believes McIntyre is one of the few superstars who can physically match up against Brock, but the way WWE selects a winner may not depend on physicality at all.
You see WWE believes that Drew McIntyre’s success against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania depends on fan support.
WWE has been booking Drew McIntyre as a huge babyface on RAW, giving him wins in consecutive squash matches with hopes his character gets over with the WWE Universe.
WWE will wait before they decide on the winner of Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania and they will monitor Drew’s crowd reactions, fan support and merchandise sales to see if he is “profitable”.
If he does get over with the fans on the road to WrestleMania 36 which his 3,2,1 Claymore kick chants have been getting huge responses then WWE will likely go with McIntyre as the next Universal champion. If not then McIntyre might be going to “Suplex City” and one F5 might be the end of this story.
