Roman Reigns vs The Fiend is on the internal card for WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, FL.
We previously reported (read below) that WWE was looking to place Roman Reigns back on top of the WWE universe and this is the match they will use for that purpose.
Roman Reigns was being seriously considered to win the 2020 Royal Rumble but ultimately WWE decided on Drew McIntyre.
The plan for this Roman vs Fiend program is for The Fiend to terrorize Roman on the road to WrestleMania.
More elaborate props/special effects are being designed and constructed for The Fiend character and these will be unveiled during this program.
WWE is aware of potential resistance from WWE fans against Roman and WWE officials have discussed to possibly place Daniel Bryan in the program and make this a triple threat match for the Universal Championship.
