Endeavor signed an agreement to buy acquire WWE to its portfolio in April 2023. The deal which is valued at $9.3 billion sets the value of Endeavor which also owns UFC at $21+ billion live sports and entertainment powerhouse.

Since then WWE and UFC have discussed ways to make their Pay-Per-Views and Premium Live Events feel larger than life and be huge profit earners.

The idea is that WWE and UFC stars can make gusset appearances on each other brands and drive up sales and revenue.

WWE stars would help in drawing huge numbers for UFC Pay-Per-Views and UFC stars would help draw ticket sales and revenue for WWE’s premier events like “WrestleMania” “SummerSlam” and Royal Rumble”.

This would also be chance for WWE and UFC to make new fans that may have never been interested in each others shows.

This is a golden opportunity for WWE to garner mainstream media attention and get publicity news on major news outlets that normally otherwise wouldn’t watch WWE.

This plan is also an easy way for some of UFC’s top stars to make the transition from the octagon to the squared circle after their fighting career has concluded like Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar.

WWE is interested in signing Conor McGregor and Conor McGregor is a top UFC name that has been mentioned in WWE creative meetings recently as one of the UFC stars in discussions to appear on WWE programming.

As WWE and UFC enter new frontier in Sports Entertainment and MMA it will be an exciting time for fans of both brands to enjoy stars making guest appearances. Stay tuned to SW for the latest updates.
