NXT 2.0 has been completely overhauled as a brand. From the roster to Backstage Producers and Writing Team to the WWE performance center coaches.
As WWE moves forward with this new NXT 2.0 WWE officials are discussing new ways to broaden the NXT 2.0 brand to a larger audience.
One of the latest ideas is to have more main roster superstars appear on the NXT 2.0 brand. The WWE Universe has seen this already with AJ Styles facing off against Grayson Waller and Riddle appearing on the New Year’s Evil televised special to tag-team with MSK.
These cameos appeared to spike fan interest and gave the opportunity for NXT 2.0 stars to work with main roster heavyweights like AJ Styles and Riddle. WWE is looking to continue this booking strategy to involve main roster WWE SuperStars in programs with NXT 2.0 stars.
Main roster stars appearing on NXT 2.0 from time to time will be a welcome surprise for fans and will certainly freshen up the brand. Stay tuned to Slice Wrestling for the latest updates.
