Internally WWE officials consider The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) “Good as gone” from the company.
The Revival have asked for their releases from WWE multiple times with latest request coming in January 2020.
The Revival also turned down a massive $700,000 per year contract for Scott and Dash individually. A deal that would amass over a million dollars per year for Scott and Dash when merchandise revenue and bonuses are factored in.
The Revival’s top priority is to sign with AEW as a tag-team and become a huge factor into the AEW vs WWE wars.
AEW already has a offer waiting for The Revival once their WWE contracts expire in April, 2020. Additional time may be added to the tag-teams WWE contract due to time being frozen during injuries but that would only add a few weeks to their expiring time in WWE.
