AEW is in the midst of a disaster storm as CM Punk, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were all involved in a backstage brawl at the NOW Arena after ALL OUT.
CM Punk had just exited the media room with the AEW World Heavyweight championship after blasting Colt Cabana, Hangman Adam Page, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks (read below for more).
Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks confronted CM Punk in his locker room over his thrashing comments made during the ALL OUT post media conference. At that point tempers were flared and CM Punk punched Matt Jackson multiple times while Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega got into a scuffle with Ace Steel (CM Punk’s coach/trainer) Nick Jackson was hit with a steel folding chair in the eye and Ace Steel ensued to pull Kenny Omega’s hair while punching and kicking him. Multiple AEW talent and security had to break up the fight.
Tony Khan was not notified of the incident until the end of the media conference and all involved have been suspended.
Multiple serious lawsuits, charges and investigations have been filed and AEW top officials are trying their best to not discuss anything at all.
AEW sources have confirmed to SW that AEW is in the midst of a civil war and shockwaves so strong will shake AEW to its core.
“Shit is about to hit the fan. It’s getting worse.” Is what our source described to us and that AEW officials are preparing for “AEW fans to have a meltdown” in the coming days as repercussions of this incident look to change AEW forever.
Multiple AEW sources confirm to SW that this incident is extremely serious and at the moment could result in CM Punk leaving AEW, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks leaving AEW or all involved leaving AEW.
Tony Khan is set to have one on one meeting with CM Punk today Tuesday September 6th.
The backstage turmoil in AEW had been brewing for months and it finally hit that fan after ALL OUT and AEW talents involved in this incident are infuriated with the other side.
Tony Khan is now placed in the middle and will have to make a choice on who to side with as ultimatums have been thrown down as a “He goes or we go.” type demand.
