WWE is looking to make a strong comeback with SummerSlam 2020 taking place August, 23rd from Boston, MA
WWE will be more aggressive with booking SummerSlam due to the company set to lose almost $30 Million after COVID-19 disrupted the world and the WWE Universe and forced them to hold a fan-less WrestleMania at the WWE Performance Center.
The plan right now is to make up for the losses by putting on a huge SummerSlam in Boston. We previously reported on plans (read below) for Rob Gronkowski to be featured in a marquee match at SummerSlam in Boston.
WWE is already booking the Pay-Per-View and part of the WWE creative team has been assigned to putting together the best possible SummerSlam.
There is tons of uncertainty in the world and if all else prevails and the epidemic is long gone by the summer months we could be in store for a historic SummerSlam.
